Announcing Eight Buffalo Niagara Businesses as Finalists for the 2025 Business Ethics Awards

What if we measured business success not by profits, but by the bond of trust built with customers, employees, and community?

That's the philosophy behind the Business Ethics Association's annual awards event—an honor that isn't simply given, but earned through consistent ethical conduct.

Since 2007, the Business Ethics Association has proudly championed business ethics throughout the Buffalo Niagara community, shining a spotlight on companies that demonstrate integrity in everything they do.

Through this lifetime achievement recognition, the Business Ethics Association promotes community awareness that ethical behavior isn't just good practice—it's the foundation of lasting success.

“Going through the application process was worthwhile in itself. It gave us an opportunity to analyze our company and behaviors. We encourage companies to strongly consider applying for this prestigious award.”

A company may be nominated by an employee, a customer, client, consultant, vendor, or any individual who is impressed with the company’s ethics program or demonstration of the same.

The nomination begins a process whereby the nominated company will be asked to tell their story and prepare an application.

Two-to three finalists from each of three business size categories will be selected. A panel of business and community leaders will select one recipient from each group to receive the award.

The application process is a valuable tool, helping companies look at existing practices and challenge them to objectively examine what they do and evaluate ways in which they can become a better company.

Finalists are invited to a November awards luncheon where recipients will be announced.
