Nomination Process

Who is setting the standard for business ethics and strengthening Western New York? Who deserves recognition?

• Anyone can submit a nomination—employees, customers, vendors, clients, and any individual inspired by a company’s ethical leadership.

• Nominated companies will receive a congratulatory email with details about the Business Ethics Award’s virtual orientation and an invitation to apply for the award.

• Eligible businesses must operate in the Buffalo Niagara region and employ at least five people. (Nonprofit organizations are not eligible.)

• The nomination deadline is May 1. Don’t miss the opportunity—submit your nomination today!

Application Process

What happens after a company is nominated?

• Nominees receive a congratulatory email with information about the virtual orientation session and instructions to apply.

• Companies may apply for the Crystal Award using the link provided in the nominee email.

• The application offers an opportunity to showcase and celebrate your organization’s commitment to ethical leadership and excellence.

• Applicants are categorized by size: Small, Midsize, and Large.

• Submissions are reviewed by respected business and community leaders who select the award recipients.

• Three finalists from each category are honored at the annual luncheon, and one finalist from each category receives the Crystal Award presented at the awards ceremony.
